A powerful new family collaboration brings together legendary Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser with his sons Galen and Cameron Fraser and the Spanish Castilian fiddler and singer, María San Miguel, Galen’s musical and life partner. Rooted in the traditional Scottish repertoire that has shaped Alasdair’s musical life, as well as a deep association with the Iberian Peninsula, the quartet expands outward into a vibrant, contemporary sound world, combining the diverse musical explorations of all members of this exciting new band. With generations of musical influence, family chemistry and a shared instinct for adventure, the group brings fresh energy to old traditions— moving effortlessly between fiery dance tunes, lyrical airs, original compositions and unexpected musical journeys.
