Looking forward to MKE Irish Fest! woot!
I just saw on the Milwaukee Irish release that you will be performing at the festival in August. Great news. Look.forward to seeing you. A huge fan.
Any plan for concerts in Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, Wis.
Thanks for the Fling lessons this weekend. I enjoyed your metaphors almost as much as the music itself; rosin on the teaching bow.
Regards, your alumnus plus a few years, ian
Hello, Sorry - Please disregard my message yesterday - manic enthusiasm. I do not really have time to learn great fiddle playing. I have a life, with career skills and another art to never perfect, so I will just go back to doing my best. But in the back of my mind an old tune, all of it...
I am such a fan of you. For more than 30 years.
I you ever feel like coming to Tarragona, just feel invited to play in my house.
Let me know.
All the best
Though COVID prevents travel, my heart will be with you in Moab, UT this weekend. If you guys can make magic in the back of a bar in MA, I cant only imagine the sheer magnitude of the energy you will create in Red Rock ! Have fun and know you are missed.
I'm just a beginner student in music, but I fell in love with your job. With my simple violin i try to get few notes of your songs. I know that there is a technical gap between us, I can never compare myself to you, but I wanted to say that your songs are motivating to continue my studies. Thank you for giving us the gift of listening to you play.
I've written the book and lyrics to a musical historical drama that takes place in the 14th Century Brittany. I love Alasdair's music and would like to talk to him about the possibility of composing the music for it. I will be having a zoom reading of it the weekend of Aug 29-30, and would like to invite him to join us to see if he might be interested in doing so. I can be reached at email@example.com or 707-292-9498. I look forward to hearing from him.
Great memories of your visits to Milwaukee. East side house concert, Madison Country Dance Ball, post ball house party, Pabst Theatre, Irish Cultural Center, and Irish Fest. Thanks for it all!
